Florida Holocaust Museum: Remembrance & Memorial

As one of the largest Holocaust museums in the country, the Florida Holocaust Museum in St. Petersburg features permanent and temporary exhibits that strive to honor Holocaust survivors and those who perished under Nazi rule. The museum educates the public on the Holocaust and genocide around the world, and contemporary human rights issues. The museum's permanent exhibit, History, Heritage and Hope, features a thought provoking collection of original artifacts, photographs, and documents.

Free Admission: Active U.S. Military, The FHM members, USF students with ID, children 6 and under. Veterans will receive free admission (with ID) on Veterans Day.

  • Does the Museum provide tours?

    Yes, there are public tours available with admission on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 1:30 pm.  Private tours are available with advanced registration of at least 30 days, as are school group tours.
  • What can I expect to see in the exhibitions?

    The Florida Holocaust Museum offers both permanent and temporary exhibits. Their main exhibition, History, Heritage and Hope features original artifacts, video, and photos of life before World War II, followed by the rise of Hitler and the Nazis. FHM is also home to one of the few remaining railroad boxcars used by the Nazis to transport Jews and prisoners. Now a silent tribute, Boxcar #113 069-5 now rests on original tracks from the Treblinka Killing Center.
